This painting reflects the transient beauty of the Hebridean Landscapes with their atmospheric skies and weather, for me the most important thing is to capture the essence of a landscape and the particular mood of light. The Isle of Sky and its many sea lochs and lochens played such an important role in my observations and I hope I have conveyed it here. This painting is 30x30x2 cm and is oil on cradled board, it is unframed for your own particular choice of frame to suit your interiors although it can be hung as it is.
