The painting 'Catching the Light' has been created over the last few months in response to the wild unpredictable weather in the UK particularly in the North of Scotland as the light is so beautiful and transient. I love to try and capture those moments in my paintings and have used oils on cradled panel to capture the feeling one gets when you are witnessing those moments.
