Elaine Fox's landscapes are a celebration of the natural world. Her paintings capture the beauty of the British countryside, from mountains to rolling hills and coastal landscapes. Each painting is a unique representation of the atmosphere and ephemeral nature of the natural world.
Elaine lives in Cheshire and is a Lancashire born painter, with an MA in Fine Art and is a qualified Lecturer in Art & Design.
Her paintings are the result of the ‘push and pull’ between abstract and representational methods of painting and subject matter, she uses her experiences of being in nature and the great outdoors to influence her work, reducing and simplifying her subject matter to create sensitive and atmospheric depictions of the landscape..
Elaine is represented by Wychwood Gallery, is an active member of ArtCan.Org and has collections in the USA, Europe and the UK.
